Resource Mothers is a home-visiting program providing a combination of social support, education and practical assistance to first time pregnant teens as they experience the crisis of a teen pregnancy and makes the transition to parenthood. Some of the topics we cover in our curriculum-based education are community resources, pregnancy, parenting, child development, and healthy relationships. Our purpose is to increase good birth outcomes for the mother and infant and to reduce infant mortality. The teen is involved with our program from early prenatal until the child’s first birthday. There is no cost for the services we provide.
